Daily Activity English Version 07

assalamualaikum guys...


Today I came to campus at 6:00 am, then I immediately took out the bread in the chiller because the bread will be heated. After that we were all oneline because the supervisor would check our grooming and our equipment. Then I went into the kitchen to put my bags and items "I was in the locker. Then our supervisor gave direction when working it must be neat, clean and orderly, then we also moved to do the work that had to be done because at 9:00 a.m. everything had to be finished if and will do a display in the restaurant.

make hollandaise sauce with my group. then the sauce will be used for egg benedict. then I help my friend to make other food so that everything is quickly finished. the time to rest then we will all go to the mosque to pray in congregation. after that we all go back to the kitchen, then we have lunch with friends.

after that we all returned oneline because sir Faisal will explain everything that will be prepared for tomorrow. and sir faisal shared groups, which groups received continental breakfast, english breakfast, american breakfast, and indonesia breakfast because tomorrow was a buffet menu. and my group got Indonesian breakfast, so I prepared materials with my group friends. After that, we all did general cleaning so that the kitchen was clean and neat. After that I and the other friends took a break because they were tired of doing general cleaning while waiting sir faisal come to oneline.




RECIPE
hollandaise sauce
ingredients:
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
1  bay leaf
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 pcs egg yolk
200 gr unsalted butter, softened
a pinch  salt and pepper

procedure :
  1. put the vinegar, bay leaf, peppercorn and 1 tbsp water in a small, heavy-based saucepan. heat until bubbling and simmer until the liquid has reduced by half
  2. heat a medium sized pan containing about 5 cm of water until simmering. put the egg yolk in a headproof bowl that sits comportably over the pan without the base touching the water. strain the vinegar mixture into yolk and whisk lightly to cimbine.
  3. whisk in a cube of butter. as soon as it melted info the sauce, add another cube ans whisk again until absorbed. continue adding the remaining butter. check the flavor and season with salt and pepper.
